This is because the \u003cgwmw\u003eairbox air\u003c\/gwmw\u003e feed is placed directly above a very hot source of heat - the radiator. This led us to design and relocate where the air filter\/\u003cgwmw\u003eairbox\u003c\/gwmw\u003e \u003cgwmw\u003eis housed\u003c\/gwmw\u003e in the engine bay. The filter element itself is provided by \u003cu\u003ePipercross\u003c\/u\u003e, and is fully serviceable or replaceable if necessary. A replacement can be found here. The \u003cgwmw\u003epipe work\u003c\/gwmw\u003e of the kit runs around the cold side of the engine and away from the \u003cgwmw\u003eengines\u003c\/gwmw\u003e turbo manifold; this again is to keep intake temperatures down as low as possible. In total, we observed intake temperatures fall from 39°C down to 26°C.
