The size of the intercooler remains unchanged from the original version, but the internal core design has been further optimised for high power applications, guaranteeing optimal air flow and excellent cooling performance. For power applications below 600PS, the standard version is recommended.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe high performance intercooler has the following core dimensions: 515mm x 367 [274] mm x 95mm, offering a 120% larger cooling surface and 142% more charge air volume compared to the original intercooler. The newly developed competition core ensures sufficient airflow to adjacent components, such as the watercooler, and is also very light. The endtanks of the intercooler are made of cast aluminium and have been optimised under flow analysis in the CAD system. Additional air baffles inside the inlet provide uniform filling of the intercooler, resulting in excellent cooling properties with minimum back pressure.
