Exoracing 38mm Weld On Wastegate Flange Installation Guide:

Please follow the steps below to correctly install your new 38mm wastegate flange and gasket kit. Please ask a professional to install it if you are unsure of anything in this guide or are not confident or safe when welding.

1. First, remove the manifold or screamer you are welding from the car and ensure you have thoroughly cleaned the wastegate flanges and surface metal you are welding to for the best possible weld.
2. Weld the flanges to either the manifold, screamer/downpipe or both sides, ensuring you get them the correct way around. The tapped wastegate flange always goes on the manifold, and the untapped flange will go on the wastegate outlet side.
3. Once you are happy they are welded correctly and have cooled down, install them back onto the car using the supplied gaskets between the wastegate inlet and outlet, and torque the bolts to factory specifications.
4. After you are confident there are no boost leaks and a few heat cycles have passed, please ensure to retighten the bolts, as they often become loose due to heat.
