The MMX adaptor replaces the plug that can be found on the oil cooler thermostat assembly with a 1/8NPT gauge adaptor, making a neat job of installing your sensor.
Manufactured from T6061 billet aluminium, our Billet Adaptor for the BMW N55/N54 and S55 engines offers a high-quality aesthetic update.
The Adaptor is anodised in our trademark MMX Deep Gloss Black for a beautiful finish.
This makes a great compliment to our Oil Thermostat Cover Set, which can be ordered with or without this Adaptor - a must-have for those that like their engine bay looking at its best.

If this part is exposed to excessive heat for prolonged periods of time, it can affect the overall finish which is unavoidable with anodised aluminium products.
